Thanks for a passage that allowed me to close my eyes and pump my legs so my swing too, could touch the clouds!
Day by day, bird by bird, word by word, grief will find a resting place and then, a simple breeze, a sound, a memory, and you will find yourself wondering how the mist found its way to your eyes and your heart…
And the joy of a grandchild will soften the solitude and the sorrow. And time will continue to do what it has always done…
And a friend will remind you to breathe, and share a story, or a painting, or a lesson from your day. You will reflect and realize there will never be enough days to paint all that you wish to and you will find your rhythm of words and brush strokes and your love of the life you are creating will make the grief tolerable… And you will live, day by day…
One day at a time!
