I am loving this challenge. I am trying to find her look so that I can create her personality and her voice. I am trying to figure out what different embellishments I can add to her clothing. So far she seems to love dancing and playing music on her harp. She looks a little younger today as she is starting to play more. But she is still a bit serious. I need to liven her up a bit. Maybe change her harp for a cello or an acoustic guitar. I can play both but maybe the guitar would suit her better. I love her fiery red hair, but I might tone that down to more of a chestnut color. And change her eyes from blue to green. She does love these flowing sparkling dresses as they are so easy to dance in. I have not decided if she is dancing barefoot or if she will have shoes.
I cannot wait to see what the others come up with for their muses. This is such fun! It allows me to be creative with watercolor and at the same time craft a whole little personality.
Yesterday I got the most beautiful video message from a very dear friend. It was so unexpected and I enjoyed it so much. Life is such a collection of these special moments. That one is going in my gratitude jar for sure.
Today is the day. My Mom and brother will arrive and we will start our Easter weekend celebration. I woke up extremely early today to get things started. So I won’t be writing a lot this morning so that I can settle into what I need to concentrate on for the day ahead. I realized with my laptop down I would not be able to sneak into the living room early in the morning to write on my iMac. Maybe I will move it upstairs before they arrive.
Well, I better go around and check the mouse traps to ensure that the first mouse didn’t bring his family in rent-free too. Finn was much less whiny today. I am praying that is a sign.

Sharon! I love that you love this challenge!

Your painting takes me back to when I started creating visuals of Calliope, Thalia, and Urania.
They have taken on many different looks over the last couple of years!
What I hear is that you are embracing Terpsichore as an opportunity for self-awareness, exploration, and creation.
This gives me Godbumps!
Thank you seizing and running with this a-muse-ment! Your creativity and enthusiasm fuels my own.
Thank you for including us all in your writing! You get us all to become curious and play.
