Good Morning! Today, I am sad that our time together learning about me through the #meetthewriter is through. I am not good with commitments as they relate to me. This was my chance to prove that for 15 days, I would wake up and find the word of the day, with the prompt and I would write.
I want readers to learn about me and why I love to write. I am gathering my stories, and so that I can write my first book this year.
In the meantime, I will use prompts from the Jam Jar. I have started to read “The Way of the Fearless Writer”, by Beth Kempton.
was behind the #meetthewriter prompt challenge. I will be continuing to write and share my thoughts with the #fearlesswriter hashtag after today. My commitment will continue to be daily to my writing, painting, and crafts. I have found that it keeps me grounded to do so. There is something about creating whether it is a story about someone long ago or a watercolor little bird postcard to send to someone that cheers them up that makes me feel alive.
I want to bring you into my stories so that you can feel it too. After all, I am a writer!
Day 15 Beth Kempton #meetthewriter Commitment
I picked up a small plaque a couple of years ago that reads: Create something everyday.
I’ve come to believe that creating something outside of myself is an incredible reminder that I’m also creating inside of myself.
Keep going!
❤️ keep writing! ❤️
